Aerospace Potable Water Tank – Drawer Style
This four gallon potable water tank is a Slide-in-cabinet with rear quick disconnect. The quick disconnect closes upon removal and opens when mated. The large diameter vented threaded cap allows filling from large jug bottles. The Cap and access cover are machined C-PVC and are removable for internal tank cleaning and inspection. The tank material is Roto-Molded PVDF Plastic to reflect FAR 25 Flammability requirements. To function as a slide out tank within a cabinet drawer, the rear supply connection uses a PTFE siphon tube to draw water from the tank. The tank will gravity drain and siphon all but a few mm of water. The Tank supports supply connections which are hard line Stainless Steel with full floating connections and internal shut-off check valve for in-use tank removal.
